Paper Trails is a motion campaign promoting HSBC, aimed at encouraging luxury travellers to invest in an HSBC account when travelling aboard.
This project brief was also aimed at celebrating HSBC for their anniversary and release of their official Pantone colour.
Travel has become a regular part of affluent lifestyles, with people taking multiple trips each year (McKinsey)
We aimed to highlight some of the luxury travel experiences in our motion campaign. After some feedback we added in extra scenes to lengthen the project, creating key frames of each scene after we had decided on the final order. This made animating the final scene much easier, using the notes we had made, to create our frame to frame transitions.
In addition to the motion advertisement, I also created other campaign assets.
We aimed for a postcard aesthetic, including the style of the hand drawn HSBC logo released for the anniversary along side the Pantone announcment.
